Nell’ultima spettacolare serata del Lecco Jazz Festival, calcherà il palco dell’Auditorium Casa dell’Economia un ensamble d’eccezione. Danilo Pérez è il protagonista di questo fantastico trio: insieme a lui John Patitucci, uno dei più grandi bassisti del jazz contemporaneo, e il batterista Adam Cruz.  

Pérez è un artista per la pace dell'UNESCO, ambasciatore culturale nella Repubblica di Panama, fondatore e direttore artistico del Panama Jazz Festival e del Global Jazz Institute del Berklee College of Music di Boston. John Patitucci, vincitore di due Grammy Awards e candidato a oltre quindici nomination, ha legato il suo nome a grandi artisti del panorama della musica jazz: solo per citarne alcuni Chick Corea, Wayne Shorter, Pat Metheny, Stan Getz, Herbie Hancock e Freddie Hubbard. 

Il batterista e compositore Adam Cruz, newyorkese di nascita, è stato una forza creativa vitale sulla scena jazz internazionale negli ultimi due decenni. Nel corso della sua illustre carriera ha suonato e registrato con artisti diversi come Tom Harrell, McCoy Tyner, Chick Corea, Pharaoh Sanders, Eddie Palmieri, Joanne Braackeen, Chris Potter, Edward Simon, Steve Wilson, Charlie Hunter e Lee Konitz. 

During the last spectacular evening of the LJF, an exceptional ensemble will take the stage of the Auditorium Casa dell'Economia. Danilo Pérez is the protagonist of this fantastic trio: together with him John Patitucci, one of the greatest bassists of contemporary jazz, and the drummer Adam Cruz. Pérez is a UNESCO Artist for Peace, founder and artistic director of the Panama Jazz Festival and the Global Jazz Institute of the Berklee College of Music in Boston. John Patitucci, winner of two Grammy Awards, has linked his name to the greatest artists on the jazz music scene. New York-born drummer and composer Adam Cruz has been a vital creative force on the international jazz scene for the past two decades.
